Who we are
TMM Mobile Vehicle Repairs (“we”) is a mobile mechanic based at 2 Southfields Avenue, Great Sankey, Warrington WA5 3PS. We are responsible for the personal information you send us through this website. You can contact us on 07989 747065 or at alanchester2@yahoo.co.uk.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry through the form on this website, we collect what you choose to give us: your name, phone number, email address, postcode or town, vehicle registration, the service you need, your description of the problem and any photos you attach.
To protect the form from spam we also use your IP address. It is used to limit repeated submissions and is not stored alongside your enquiry.
Why we use it
We use your details to reply to your enquiry, give you a quote and arrange the work if you go ahead. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract with you, and our legitimate interest in running and protecting our business. We do not use your details for marketing and we never sell them.
Spam protection
Our form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that enquiries come from a person rather than a bot. To do this, Cloudflare processes technical information such as your IP address and details about your browser. Cloudflare’s own privacy policy explains how it handles that information: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
Who can see your details
Your enquiry is emailed to us and stored securely on our website so that nothing gets lost. The companies that help us run this, such as our website host, our email provider and Mako Digital, who built and look after this website, may process it on our behalf. Some of these providers may store data outside the UK, in which case appropriate safeguards are in place.
How long we keep it
Enquiries and any photos sent through the website are deleted automatically after 12 months. If you become a customer, we keep job and invoice records for as long as the law requires.
Cookies
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. The spam check described above may store small pieces of information in your browser that it needs to work.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, or object to how we use it. Just contact us using the details above. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
