Mobile engine repairs across the North West

From sensor faults to complex engine work, found with dealer-level diagnostics and repaired on site wherever possible.

The engine bay of a modern car

Engine trouble usually starts with a warning light, a loss of power or a noise that was not there before. We find the cause with dealer-level Autel and Snap-On diagnostics, explain it in plain English and, wherever possible, fix it there and then on your driveway or at work.

Engine problems we deal with

Our diagnostics read the engine and its control units on most makes and models, so we fix the actual fault instead of guessing.

  • Engine management lights
  • Misfires and rough running
  • Loss of power and limp mode
  • DPF problems
  • EGR faults
  • Sensor failures
  • Starting problems
  • Starter motors
  • Minor fuel faults

Diagnose first, then repair

Swapping parts until a warning light goes out is expensive and often does not work. We read the fault codes, check the live data and, where it helps, road test the car, so we fix what is actually wrong.

You get a clear quote before any work starts. If a job needs workshop equipment, we arrange transport and oversee the work, so you are never left guessing.

Engine light on?

A steady light with the car driving normally usually means you can carry on gently and book a check. A flashing light, a loss of power, overheating or a new knocking noise means stop somewhere safe and call us on 07989 747065. Driving on can turn a small repair into a big one.

How much does a typical repair cost?

Without the overheads of a fixed garage, our labour rates are usually lower than main dealers and many local workshops. Prices depend on the job, the make and the parts needed, but you always get a clear quote before any work starts, and servicing is fixed-price. There are no hidden call-out fees within our normal area, and we will tell you if a repair would not be worth it compared with what the car is worth.

My engine warning light is on. Can I keep driving?

If the light is steady and the car drives normally, you can usually carry on gently and book a check soon. If it is flashing, or the car has lost power, is overheating or is making a new noise, stop somewhere safe and call us, because driving on can turn a small repair into a big one.

What if the repair needs a garage?

Most engine faults can be put right on site. If a job does need workshop equipment, we arrange transport and oversee the work, so you are never left guessing about what is happening to your car.
